Planning FAQ

Why is there a planning investment?

More involved trip planning requires professional research, itinerary design, supplier coordination and logistics, before anything is booked. Planning investments protect that time and begin the process with committed travelers.

Are hotel and resort bookings complimentary?

Yes. Many hotel, resort, cruise, and simple bookings are complimentary when booked through GCG Travel. In these cases, GCG Travel is compensated by the travel partner, much like online booking platforms are compensated.

Does the planning investment go toward the hotel?

No. Hotel and supplier charges are paid directly to the travel provider. Planning investments are separate professional service retainers for design, research, coordination, and support.

What happens after I submit payment?

After payment is received, GCG Travel will send the appropriate secure Fora intake form so trip details and traveler preferences can be collected in one place.

What if I am not sure which option applies?

Choose the option that seems closest to your trip. Emily will follow up if another planning path is a better fit.
